LAGTN undertakes diverse regional capacity building activities with women’s organizations and social movements around macroeconomics and trade. It also advocates for more transparent negotiations, especially on regional trade agreements. 

It has published gender analyses of trade agreements between the EU and Latin America and the WTO and is active in education and mobilization campaigns that engage regional women in civil society actions against unfair trade policies and agreements.
