| Abstract: |
The paradigm of sustainable development was supposed to be a neat package of commitments in three inter-linked areas of the economy, society and the environment. However, ten years after Agenda 21 was adopted in Rio in 1992, what we are experiencing today instead are three inter-related crises, namely, the crisis of the economy, the crisis of the environment, and the crisis of society. This article explains these crisis and the need for regualtion, resistance and re-creation. |
