Alexandra Spieldoch, of the US Gender and Trade Network, spent three months in Argentina working with the Argentine Focal Point, Norma Sanchis, of the Latin American Gender and Trade Network and other Argentine colleagues. While there, Alexandra interviewed a number of experts on their perspectives on the crisis and took part in dialogues, seminars and demonstrations on this subject. This paper presents the information she collected while in Argentina and offers a critical analysis of the situation, along with the social and gender impacts and lessons learned from the situation. |
